Nichole works with creators and artists from all different modalities to bridge the gap between Art and Communities.
Nichole started making waves after joining the world’s premiere art toy company, Kidrobot, in 2003. Since then, it’s been madness. She’s organized fashion shows; curated toy series - Tattoo Dunny Series (a recent seller in Christie’s Pop Culture Auction; and even designed her own toys. As the Director of Marketing she lead the company's promotional, social networking, and event-related efforts. A toy she helped make happen—the “Hello, My Name Is” 8" Dunny, by Huck Gee—was accepted into the permanent collection at New York’s Modern Museum of Art. She has collaborated with hundreds of companies and creatives including pop culture institutions as Museum of Modern Art, Playboy, Adult Swim and The Simpsons. She has also been profiled for her artist management and creative collaborations in a host of magazines, including INKED, Time Out New York, Juxtapoz, Clutter, Super, Hi Fructose, Tabu, and more.
After 10 years at Kidrobot, Nichole left the cold East Coast for the warm rays of California. “I loved New York, but I was ready for a change and California was just what I needed for my soul,” she says of her life changing decision. “I didn’t know what I was going to do, but I just knew I had to stay with the Arts.”
Nichole started managing the World’s most elite tattoo artists and brands to help mold societies perceptions of the industry. Using her background in business and art she helped artists expand their brands through marketing, collaborations, community education and special events like Black Anchor Academy and “Meeting of the Masters” . She also created and managed the largest tattoo artist Pro-Team by incorporating tattoo artists from all over the world.
And she continues to expand her enviable repertoire, which constantly blurs the age-old line between work and play, as a guest speaker in venues across the globe. Nichole toured colleges in 2019 speaking on the impact of “Women in Tattooing” and had to opportunity to talk at the Art Institute of Chicago. “It was a dream come true”, she says.
In 2017 Nichole co-founded Healing Ink, a non-profit organization whose mission is to help survivors of terrorism and violence heal through the art of tattooing. “It’s my greatest passion to help people through art,” she says. “The events we do really help people and show the power of tattooing.” As of 2020 the organization has partnered with accredited museums, institiutions and government agencies to tattoo over 111 deserving people across the globe suffering from PTSD and other traumas.
In the wake of protests in 2020, Nichole started Love You Long Beach, a social media channel aimed at creating community and accountability in Long Beach. Over the years she has interviewed 200+ local business owners and interviewed icons of the city while also giving history lessons in her award winning series “Let’s Learn Some Shit”. Nichole headlined the Historic Arts Theater in 2022, helped fundraise for the Poly High Library mural and helped raise funds and awareness for various causes and organizations throughout the city including the World Famous VIP Records. She won “2020 Social Media Influencer of the Year” (LB Home Living) “2021 & 2022 Top 5 Social Media Influencers” (Long Beach Post) “2023 Preservationsist of the Year” Nominee (LB Heritage)
Nichole currently uses her reach and influence to advocate for the destigmafication of plant medicines and has thrown many successful cannabis inclusive events in the Los Angeles area. In 2023 she joined the Culture Shrooms team to support the movement towards educating the World about functional, medicinal and magic mushrooms. She recently teamed up with harm reduction non-profit PECC to host a monthly meetup called “Fruiting Bodies” where experts educate curious women on using cannabis, herbs, and mushrooms for healing. She continues to connect with various organizations, advocates for the decriminalization of psychedelics, and creates communities.
